DO I NEED TO BE OR KNOW A MEMBER TO HAVE MY FUNCTION AT THE KILLARA GOLF CLUB?

We warmly welcome all enquiries from both members and non-members.

HOW MANY GUESTS CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE?

We have spaces to cater from 2 people for a one-on-one training session to 140 for a seated reception with a dance floor or even 250 for a Cocktail and Canapé style event….and everything in between.

HOW MANY GUESTS CAN FIT ON A TABLE?

Our large round tables can seat up to 12 guests and our smaller tables can seat up to 8. Rectangular tables are also available, offering a range of versatile room layouts including U-shape, boardroom and theatre-style.

CAN WE HAVE DECORATIONS ON THE DAY?

Yes – Banners, signage, balloons, brochures, sample bags, and table centerpieces are just some of the decorations that have been for used for functions at The Killara Golf Club. Our Events team is more than happy to set up your decorations for you, provided that detailed and clear instructions are given, or you are welcome to set up the decorations yourself, subject to prior availability to the space.

CAN WE STORE SUPPLIES HERE THE NIGHT BEFORE AND OVERNIGHT AFTER THE EVENT?

Yes. Please arrange this with your Events Co-ordinator prior to the day. (The Killara Golf Club cannot accept any responsibility for items left at our venue.)

EQUIPMENT

CAN WE HAVE WIFI? DO YOU HAVE A PROJECTOR AND SCREEN?

Yes – we have complimentary high speed wireless available throughout the upper level of the clubhouse. We offer a data projector, laptop, and lapel microphone for hire during your function at Killara Golf Club. We also provide complimentary use of our whiteboard, projector screen, lectern, and roaming microphones (subject to availability).

PARKING & OTHER FACILITIES

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE CLUB?

Yes -The Killara Golf Club offers complimentary car parking. However, please keep in mind that this is subject to availability with members and other guests also using this facility. We also offer a free taxi phone located in our main foyer for those who would prefer to arrange alternate transport.

DO YOU HAVE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS AND DISABLED FACILITIES?

Yes – we have wheelchair access to the upper level of the Clubhouse as well as disabled toilet facilities on this level. With your prior notice, we can arrange a parking spot close to the Clubhouse subject to availability.

MENUS & BEVERAGES

CAN WE TAILOR THE MENU TO SUIT OUR NEEDS?

Yes – The Killara Golf Club is able to provide a flexible, individualised approach to menu choice. Our Events Co-ordinator would be delighted to discuss menu options, and together with our Executive Chef, organise a package that suits your function and needs.

DO YOU CATER FOR FOOD ALLERGIES / SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENT?

Yes – we do. Vegetarian, Non-dairy, Gluten-free, Egg-free  etc can all be catered for.  Please advise details of any guests with any food allergies or special requirements when confirming final numbers.
If any relevant allergen is to be used in any of the food prepared for the function, we will take reasonable steps to advise you and, if practical, will provide an alternative food item for the guests affected.

BOOKINGS & PAYMENT

HOW DO I TENTATIVELY HOLD A DATE?

Just contact our Events Co-ordinator for availability and request a tentative hold to be placed for you. The date can be held for up to two weeks without a deposit, after completing a booking form. After this time if you have not confirmed your function your tentatively booking will be released.

HOW DO I CONFIRM AND PAY FOR MY FUNCTION?

To confirm a booking for your event please return the signed booking form and deposit as arranged with the Events Co-ordinator.

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS?

We accept payment by Visa or Mastercard (a 1.5% fee applies), cash or online electronic funds transfer.

CAN I EXTEND OUR FUNCTION TIME?

Yes – if possible – The duration of the event will be discussed and agreed during quoting. A request for an extension during a function itself will be granted if possible, but will be dependent on staff commitments and other factors. An extension will incur an additional charge per half hour or part thereof.
